Ashtabula Kennel Club Dog Show

We went up to Madison for a dog show yesterday.  My husband got to go with us, so that made it extra exciting since that was the first time he has seen Tug and I show.  He got to take pictures of us :)  We had a lot of fun as usual and Tug gets better each time he goes out in the ring.  He won his puppy class - only puppy dog in 9-12 month class, shhh we won't tell him!  We went back in the breed ring for best puppy and Tug finally beat his sister, lol :)  This sent us into the puppy non-sporting ring for the first time.  Tug continued to show well but we didn't place.  Most importantly he was wonderful for showing his bite - didn't move a muscle for the judge in the breed ring and when I showed the judge in the puppy group ring he was just as good!  He stood still for the judges' exams too!  Such a good boy.  :)  He's getting better and better at figuring out what his job in the ring is; now "Mom" just needs to remember all that she's supposed to do to get him ready to show and what to do in the ring!  LOL!
